Farewell Chiang Mai

One last trip to Chaing Mai.  We went up to Chiang Rai and saw the white temple again.

We went to our favorite cooking class one last time.

The view from the 4th story of the mall.  Tanner, Kait and I went to 2 movies back to back!  That was a first for me.  They also had a GREAT stationary store that Kait and I enjoyed for about an hour.  Tanner patiently listened to a story at the food court.

One last meal at our favorite Mexican food restaurant.

Bike Rides

Having a bicycle as my only mode of transportation (besides walking) had its ups and downs.  I spent a lot of time on my bike.  Here are a few random pictures from out and about.  If I turned left out from the school it lead to lots of rice patties.  That's what I pictured when I imagined living in Thailand and riding my bike everywhere.  Turning to the right out of the school led into town.

Summer camp

During their one month summer break the school holds a summer camp.  It's about 4 hours a day.  I taught a combined class for all ages (first grade to 4th grade).  There was a HUGE range of English comprehension and speaking ability.  That made it a little tricky, but I did the best I could.

ASEAN Day

The last day of each school year the kids have ASEAN day.  We all dress up in costumes from different south eastern Asia and the kids do presentations for the countries.  This year I wore a costume from Malaysia.  The kids all looked awesome and did great on their presentations!
