Teacher day is basically their teacher appreciation day.
The kids dressed up and brought flowers.
We had an assembly and all the teachers and I sat up front in chairs. The kids sang some songs and did their daily
recitations/prayers. Then they came up
by grade and knelt in front of us and bowed and presented us with flowers.
The flower arrangements were really
neat!
When I commented to Ton that I was impressed
with the flowers he responded with, “Really?! They aren’t even good compared to
the arrangements during some other festival (I can’t remember the name).” It was a fun cultural experience. I really love that some of the kids were dressed up in traditional Thai clothing
